As part of your garden consultation I will evaluate your entire site for highlights and for problems. We walk the garden and discuss all the different areas of it. It is important for me to get to know what you want from the garden and how you and your family interact with and use the garden. I will question you on aspects like, daily parking routines, how the living area of the house is connected to the garden, what part of the garden gets most sunshine, what does and doesn’t grow well, your personal taste in plant type and garden style, to name a few.
Easy fix problems like concerns on moving plants, where and when to cut certain trees, and shrubs are addressed immediately.
Questions like how to transform a shady patio area, or how to develop a section of the garden require a more in depth discussion. We will go through solutions that may suit, all of this is done to help produce a garden design that works for you.
A fresh pair of eyes can often see an answer to a problem that may have been troubling you for some time!
I will also provide easy-to-follow maintenance plans that can be designed for your garden. These would typically cover pruning, fertilizing and transplanting. A tailor made plan is helpful to the garden beginner in getting the most from the garden.
